Nancy Hatch Woodward is a retired freelance journalist who covered human resources, employment law, diversity, employee communications and healthcare. She provided writing and editing services, along with communication expertise for a number of large companies.

Ms. Hatch Woodward published more than 750 articles and was a long-term and frequent contributor to SHRM publications (HR Magazine, HR Global, and HR News) and ThomsonReuter's newsletters (HR Wire, HR Compliance Law Bulletin, and Termination Law Bulletin). She was also a contributing editor for Best Practices in Human Resources and Best Practices for Compensation and Benefits (BLR) and a regular contributor for Disability, Leave and Absence Reporter and Fair Employment Practices Guidelines (Bureau of Business Practices).
