The Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSH Act) protects whistleblowers who complain to the employer or to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) about unsafe working conditions.
The OSH Act gives whistleblowers the right to attend an OSHA inspection.
OSHA prohibits employers from taking an adverse action (e.g., discipline, termination, refusal to hire) against employees for exercising their rights to complain to their employer or file a complaint with OSHA.
