An employer may use this checklist to craft a well-developed written offer to a candidate selected for employment. All of the items on the checklist may not be applicable to every potential new hire either because of the type of position offered or because of federal and/or state law requirements.
An employer may use this checklist to ensure all necessary information has been provided to a new employee on the first day, in order to acquaint the new hire with company procedures. This checklist also includes activities meant to engage the new hire and to leave them feeling welcomed by the organization and the employer.
