The EU Pay Transparency Directive (2023/970/EU) sets out a broad framework to reinforce the principle of equal pay for equal work or work of equal value between women and men by establishing pay transparency measures and reporting obligations. All member states were required to transpose (implement) the Directive into national law by 7 June 2026.
