Summary
- The District of Columbia generally computes overtime compensation in the same manner as under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). See Computing Overtime.
- Certain premiums paid for work in excess of a daily or weekly standard, for work on holidays or weekends, or for work outside of normal hours established by a contract or collective bargaining agreement can be credited toward overtime pay. See Credit Toward Overtime.
