Summary
- Rhode Island computes overtime compensation in a similar manner to that provided for in the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), with limited exceptions. See Computing Overtime.
- Nonexempt employees also must be paid overtime if they work on a Sunday or a holiday. See Sundays and Holidays.
