Summary

  • Arizona employers may defend property from criminal trespass and people from harm and are prohibited from conspiring to restrain or monopolize trade. Arizona has adopted the Uniform Trade Secrets Act. See Securing Employer Property.
  • Arizona law prohibits employers from knowingly permitting identity theft and requires certain entities to notify affected individuals in the event of a data breach. See Securing Electronic Devices.
  • Arizona employers may file a petition for a restraining order or an injunction prohibiting harassment in the workplace. Guns and weapons may be allowed in the workplace under certain circumstances. See Securing Employees.
