  • There are various types of leave that may be available to an employee in Tennessee. See Leaves of Absence.
  • Tennessee law requires that employers with 100 or more full-time employees provide up to four months of leave for childbirth, adoption, pregnancy and nursing. See Family and Medical Leave.
  • Tennessee law urges employers to develop programs that permit their employees with children in schools to take such time off. See School Activities Leave.
