Summary
- An employer may extend an employment offer to a prospective employee verbally or in writing. See Employment Offer.
- If an employer withdraws an employment offer, the employer may be liable for damages if the prospective employee can prove detrimental reliance. See Accepting, Withdrawing or Rescinding an Employment Offer.
