Summary
- Wisconsin has a private sector labor relations statute, known as the Employment Peace Act (EPA), that only applies to employers not covered by the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA). Due to the NLRA's broad applicability, this makes the EPA mostly inapplicable for nearly all private sector employment. See Employment Peace Act.
- The Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission is tasked with investigation and determinations of unfair labor practice charges under the EPA. See The Employment Relations Commission.
- Injunctions (court orders that require a party to do or refrain from doing a particular act) are available as a remedy in labor disputes upon specific findings in an open hearing. See Injunctions Under the EPA.
