HR Transformation

Introduction

HR transformation, in basic terms, is the process of first identifying what the HR department does now, what it should be doing in the future (the HR transformation objective) and how it can achieve that objective in the most effective way, and then implementing and sustaining the delivery of that objective. Technology, outsourcing and other means of delivery of the HR function may be part of the solution toward achieving HR transformation.

This guide discusses what HR transformation is, its benefits to an employer, the tools for transforming HR, the methods for implementing a successful HR transformation, as well as how HR transformation can be sustained.
