Confirmation of Informal Discussion of Minor Misconduct Letter
Author: Wayne D. Garris
When to Use
In some instances, an employee engages in misconduct that does not warrant formal discipline, but must still be addressed by the employer. This might be the case where an employee is ordinarily a good employee, but slipped up once or had a temporary lapse in judgment. This letter can be used to establish the agreement reached between the employer and employee as a result of an employee's minor misconduct.
