Comply With OSHA Recordkeeping, Posting and Reporting Requirements
Key Points
OSHA requires most employers with more than 10 employees to keep records of work-related injuries and illnesses. Certain employers must electronically submit injury and illness data to OSHA.
Employers must display the OSHA poster, as well as several other documents, in a high traffic area where employees and applicants are likely to see them.
Employers are required to report to OSHA any work-related employee fatality within eight hours and any in-patient hospitalization, amputation or loss of an eye within 24 hours.
