When to Use
The B-1 visa is a nonimmigrant visa for individuals who will be entering the US on a temporary basis for business reasons. The B-1 visa allows individuals to enter the US for six months at a time. This checklist can help HR professionals determine whether an employee is qualified for a B-1 visa. Employers do not have to complete the following steps in sequential order to properly complete the checklist.
