Summary
- Arizona law does not provide any requirements for an employment contract, but does define when an employment contract negates the presumption of at-will employment. See Employment Contracts.
- In Arizona, restrictive covenants must protect a legitimate business interest and must not restrict more than is reasonably necessary to protect those interests. See Restrictive Covenants.
- Arizona has adopted the Uniform Trade Secrets Act, which protects employers against disclosure of their proprietary information. See Trade Secrets.
