Summary
- Employment offers may be oral or written. See Making an Employment Offer.
- If an employer intends to create an at-will employment relationship, any offer letter should include a clear statement that employment will be on an at-will basis. See Making an Employment Offer.
- The offer should identify any conditions that the employee must meet prior to the commencement of employment. See Conditional Employment Offers.
- If the employment offer is contingent upon the employee passing a medical examination, the employer must comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Ohio Administrative Code. See Conditional Employment Offers.
