- Virginia does not have a state family and medical leave law applicable to private employers. See Family and Medical Leave.
- A covered employer should treat women affected by pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions the same as individuals who are not pregnant but are similar in their abilities and inabilities. See Pregnancy Disability Leave.
