Summary

• Harassment Claims in Connecticut are governed by the Connecticut Fair Employment Practices Act (CFEPA). See Harassment Under the Connecticut Fair Employment Practices Act.
• Connecticut's employment laws governing harassment are generally coextensive with Title VII and therefore Connecticut courts look to federal law for guidance; however, a greater number of people are statutorily protected from harassment in Connecticut.
