A new law expected to take effect later this summer will give employers the option to post certain required notices online instead of in the physical workplace.
The new form is the latest effort in a child labor initiative that also includes increased funding for enforcement and new procedures for assessing civil money penalties.
In cases where child labor violations do not result in a serious injury, the US Department of Labor DOL will now apply the maximum civil money penalty of $15,138 for each violation rather than for each child.
