  • Kentucky law imposes additional restrictions and regulations on child labor beyond the federal laws regarding employment of minors.
  • Minors are restricted in the occupations in which they may work and in the hours during which they may work. See Prohibited Occupations and Hours of Work.
  • Kentucky law requires that minors be provided meal and rest breaks under certain conditions. See Break Periods.
