Summary

  • An Oregon employer may be subject to a variety of family and medical leave laws. See Family and Medical Leave.
  • The Oregon Family Leave Act (OFLA) allows eligible employees of covered employers to take pregnancy disability leave, sick child leave, bereavement leave, child placement leave and leave during a public health emergency. See Oregon Family Leave Act.
  • Oregon has a paid family and medical leave insurance program that is funded through employer and employee contributions. See Paid Family and Medical Leave.
  • The Oregon Military Family Leave Act (OMFLA) requires covered employers to provide up to 14 days of unpaid leave to employees whose military spouse or domestic partner has been called to active duty or has been deployed during a period of military conflict. See Family Military Leave.
