Summary
- The Alaska Wage and Hour Act (AWHA) exempts certain employees from minimum wage and overtime requirements. These exemptions follow the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) in some respects, but not others. See Minimum Wage and Overtime Exemptions.
- Other employees are exempt from Alaska's overtime requirements, but not necessarily its minimum wage requirements. See Overtime-Only Exemptions.
