- Employers in Georgia must excuse employees from work to serve on a jury, give testimony under a subpoena or attend a judicial proceeding by order of the court. See Employers Obligated to Provide Leave.
- Jury duty leave does not apply to an employee charged with a crime. See Employees Qualified for Leave.
- Employers are required to pay an employee his or her salary for the time spent on jury duty. See Compensation During Leave.
