  • Michigan law does not specifically require equal employment opportunity (EEO) or similar training. However, employers should conduct it to minimize risk. See EEO Training.
  • Michigan extends nondiscrimination protections to apprenticeships and training. See Accommodation During Training.
  • Michigan's MIOSHA has several training requirements that largely follow federal requirements. MIOSHA requires employers to conduct specific training, depending on the occupation. See Safety Training.
  • Michigan law permits payment of a training wage for employees aged under 20 for their first 90 days of employment, with some restrictions. See Training Wage.
