Employee Handbooks 2024: Survey Report

Introduction

Employers can use an employee handbook to communicate important information to employees about their rights and responsibilities within an organization. However, employers should be careful to make sure that the information contained in a handbook is accurate and in compliance with the law. Organizations can face consequences if handbook policies become outdated or communicate inaccurate information about employee rights.

In this report, we explore data from the 2024 Brightmine Employee Handbooks survey. This survey examined the procedures companies follow to create and revise employee handbooks. It also addressed the consequences organizations may face if handbooks contain incorrect information.
