Summary
- Although Minnesota has no affirmative action requirements for private employers, the Minnesota Human Rights Act requires certain state government contractors to have affirmative action plans. See Required Affirmative Action Plans.
- Minnesota state affirmative action plans must be updated internally on an annual basis and submitted to the Commissioner of Human Rights for approval every two years. See Approval of Plans.
