Summary
- Michigan's employment retaliation laws are generally coextensive with their federal counterpart, and therefore look to federal courts for guidance. However, Michigan Courts do place additional requirements on a complainant. See Retaliation Under Michigan's Elliot-Larsen Civil Rights Act.
