Summary
- Utah's Antidiscrimination Act (UADA) prohibits retaliation against an employee who opposes discrimination as listed in UADA or participates in a proceeding arising out of unlawful discrimination. See Retaliation Under the Utah Antidiscrimination Act.
- Unlike Title VII, an employee claiming retaliation under UADA is restricted from bringing a lawsuit in federal or state court. See Enforcement of the Utah Antidiscrimination Act.
