Pregnancy and Lactation Accommodation Handbook Statement: Massachusetts
In addition to the pregnancy accommodations provided in accordance with the federal Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, as described in the National Handbook, the Company will provide employees and applicants with reasonable accommodations for health conditions related to pregnancy or the physical recovery from childbirth in accordance with Massachusetts law. Employees and applicants for employment may request a reasonable accommodation for needs related to pregnancy and related conditions, including lactation or the need to express breast milk for a nursing child. The Company will provide a reasonable accommodation that would enable the employee or applicant to perform essential job functions unless the requested accommodation would impose an undue hardship on the company's program, enterprise or business.
