Employees and applicants for employment in New York City may request a reasonable accommodation for pregnancy, childbirth and related medical conditions (including lactation). For purposes of this policy, a "related medical condition" is a medical condition related to pregnancy or childbirth that inhibits the exercise of a normal bodily function or is demonstrable by medically accepted clinical or laboratory diagnostic techniques, but does not prevent the employee from performing their job functions in a reasonable manner, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
