Pregnancy Accommodation Handbook Statement: New York
In addition to the pregnancy accommodations provided in accordance with the federal Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, as described in the National Handbook, the Company will provide employees and applicants with reasonable accommodations for health conditions related to pregnancy or the physical recovery from childbirth in accordance with New York law. For purposes of this policy, a "pregnancy-related condition" is a medical condition related to pregnancy or childbirth that inhibits the exercise of a normal bodily function or is demonstrable by medically accepted clinical or laboratory diagnostic techniques, but does not prevent the employee from performing job functions in a reasonable manner, with or without a reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may include, but are not limited to: providing an accessible worksite; acquiring or modifying equipment; job restructuring and modifying work schedules.
