Pay Equity and Transparency 2024: Survey Report
Introduction
Many companies in the United States must adhere to certain laws when it comes to pay equity and pay transparency. These requirements often vary from state to state, and multistate employers can find it particularly challenging when different states have different demands. Even if a company is not subject to legal requirements, some opt to follow these practices for the sake of talent attraction and retention.
In this survey report, we explore the practices employers follow in the area of pay equity and transparency. We investigate the legal requirements companies are subjected to, and the obstacles many companies face when it comes to effectively meeting these requirements.
