Summary
- Delaware has its own version of the federal WARN Act, the Delaware Workplace Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act. See Delaware WARN Act.
- Delaware WARN permits employers to provide a reduced notice period for a mass layoff, plant closing or relocation in certain limited circumstances. See Exceptions to Advance Notice Requirements.
- Covered employers generally are subject to penalties for failing to provide notice to affected employees. See Penalties and Enforcement.
