Family Military Leave Handbook Statement: Washington
Employees who work 20 or more hours per week and have a spouse (including a state-registered domestic partner) who is a member of the state military or the armed forces of the United States, National Guard or reserves may take family military leave if, during a period of military conflict, the employee's spouse is notified of an impending call or order to active duty or is deployed.
