Leave for Victims of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault or Trafficking in Persons Handbook Statement: Connecticut
Employees who are victims of domestic violence, sexual assault or trafficking in persons are allowed a reasonable leave of absence to:
- Seek attention for injuries caused by domestic violence, sexual assault or trafficking in persons, including for a child who is a victim, provided the employee is not the perpetrator of any act of domestic violence, sexual assault or trafficking in persons against a child;
