Employees Under 16
Employees who are 14 or 15 years of age will be allowed a 10-minute paid rest break for every two hours worked, in addition to their meal break. Employees who are 14 or 15 years of age will also not be permitted to work more than four hours without a 30-minute uninterrupted meal break. When 14- or 15-year-old employees work four or more hours, they will not be required to work more than two hours without being given either a 10-minute rest break or a 30-minute meal break.
