National Guard - Right to Reinstatement
In addition to the military leave rights set forth in the National Handbook, Idaho employees who are active members of the National Guard and are ordered by the governor to state active duty during time of war, armed conflict or declared emergency or to federal National Guard duty, other than for training, will have the same rights to reinstatement (including rights to seniority, to purchase insurance coverage and to purchase retirement credit) as provided by federal law in the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act and the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act.
