In its Autumn 2026 Legislation Programme, published in September 2026, the Irish Government confirmed that a Pay Transparency Bill to transpose the Directive is being developed, with the Heads of the Bill in preparation. No publication date has yet been announced. The previous Government published the general scheme of the proposed Equality (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill on 15 January 2025.
