Paid Leave 2026: Survey Report
Introduction
In this survey report, we explore how employers design and administer PTO programs in 2026, with a focus on the policy choices that shape employee access and organizational consistency. The findings highlight how organizations structure time off, how time is earned and carried over and the guardrails that influence when and how PTO can be used. We also examine the role of communication and culture so HR leaders can translate policy on paper into a benefit employees feel able to use.
