Summary
- Utah employers should for the most part look to federal antidiscrimination law for guidance on compliance with the treatment of disabilities in the workplace. See Disability Discrimination in Utah.
- In addition to the federal equal opportunity laws, however, Utah employers must comply with the Utah Antidiscrimination Act of 1965, which prohibits discrimination based on a number of protected categories, including disability. See The Utah Antidiscrimination Act.
