  • North Dakota does not have a state family and medical leave law applicable to private employers. See Family and Medical Leave.
  • The North Dakota Human Rights Act prohibits an employer (regardless of size) from engaging in any practice that discriminates on the basis of sex, which includes pregnancy, childbirth and disabilities related to pregnancy or childbirth. See Pregnancy Disability Leave.
