Summary
- Maryland group health policies issued to employers, regardless of size, generally must include state continuation coverage provisions. See Maryland Continuation Coverage Law.
- Maryland continuation coverage must be offered to individuals who lose group coverage upon the occurrence of certain qualifying events. See Qualifying Events.
- Employers must provide notice of continuation coverage to employees. See Notice Requirement.
