Summary
- Vermont group health policies, including dental policies, generally must provide continuation coverage to any person whose coverage would terminate upon the occurrence of a qualifying event. See Vermont Continuation Coverage Law.
- Unlike continuation coverage under federal COBRA, the maximum period of continuation coverage in Vermont is 18 months, regardless of the qualifying event. See Vermont Continuation Coverage Law.
