Summary
- Vermont's laws against employment discrimination are broader in some ways than their federal counterparts. Employers must be aware of both when interviewing applicants. See Vermont Anti-Discrimination Law.
- Vermont's Fair Employment Practices Act applies to all employers, regardless of size, and therefore covers small employers that might not be covered by federal employment laws. See Vermont Anti-Discrimination Law.
