Summary
- Hawaii's wage and hour law is similar to the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), but the state law applies to all employers regardless of size. State recordkeeping requirements are generally similar to federal requirements with some exceptions. See Basic Recordkeeping Requirements.
