Coast Guard Duty Leave Handbook Statement: Missouri
In addition to the military leave rights set forth in the National Handbook, any employee who is engaged in the performance of US Coast Guard or US Coast Guard Auxiliary duties when authorized by the appropriate US Coast Guard authority will be granted a leave of absence to perform these duties and for travel related to such duties. When such leave is not also governed by the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act, the leave may not exceed 15 working days in any calendar year. The Company reserves the right to request that the employee be exempted from responding to a specific mission.
