Military Leave Handbook Statement: New York
In addition to the military leave rights set forth in the National Handbook, regular full-time and part-time employees will be granted time off from work for military training and military service in accordance with New York law. For purposes of this policy, "military service" is defined to include active duty in the military service of the state pursuant to an order of the governor or state active duty by members of the national guard who are activated by a call of the governor of New York or any other state.
Employees returning from military service or training will be reinstated to the same position, or to a position of like seniority, status and pay, unless the Company's circumstances have changed such that it is impossible or unreasonable to do so. To be eligible for reinstatement, employees must:
