This resource summarizes the positions of the two leading candidates for the 2024 presidential election - Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump - on some of the issues that directly impact HR.

We expect that the candidates may shift and/or clarify their positions as the election draws closer. We will strive to update this resource as developments warrant.

Note: HR & Compliance Center has attempted to represent their positions as accurately as possible based on the Democratic Party Platform, the 2024 GOP Platform, campaign speeches and other official communications. Although some of the positions described below can be considered continuations of policies pursued by the Biden administration and the former Trump administration, all of them have been explicitly renewed as part of the candidates' 2024 campaigns.
