Emergency Responder Leave Handbook Statement: Maryland

Employees who are members of a Civil Air Patrol, civil defense organization, volunteer fire department or volunteer rescue squad will be provided with time off to respond to events declared by the Governor to be an emergency. Employees must make every effort to notify the Company on each occasion that they will be late to or absent from work to respond to an emergency.

The Company will not terminate, demote or take other adverse action against
