Family Military Leave Handbook Statement: Maine

Eligible employees will be allowed up to 15 days of unpaid family military leave per deployment of a family member. For purposes of this policy, "family member" means a child, spouse or domestic partner who is a resident of Maine and is ordered to active duty by the Governor or President of the United States for a period of 180 days or longer to a duty assignment that is in a combat theater or an area where armed conflict is taking place.
